RobTechUK is an independent UK web development and games project, creating browser games, online tools, web apps and websites for small businesses.
The project began in 2026 with a simple idea: to build original word games that could be played directly in a browser without downloads. What started as a learning project soon developed into a wider collection of games, apps and online platforms.
RobTechUK started after I looked into creating a larger games app based on a workplace game we used to play. Professional development quotes were far beyond what I could realistically spend, so I decided to learn how to build the games and websites myself.
The first major project was Letters In, followed by more word game ideas including Word Shuffle, Word Steps and Word Scramble. From there, RobTechUK expanded into arcade games, brain training games and more experimental browser-based projects.
RobTechUK now includes several different types of projects. The word games focus on vocabulary, spelling and puzzle solving, while the arcade and brain training sections include quick-play games designed for desktop and mobile browsers.
Psephia was the first major project outside of games. It is a polling and public opinion platform where users can create polls, vote on others and explore opinions across different categories. The aim is to keep it simple, accessible and useful while continuing to add new features.
ScoreCast24 is RobTechUK's football prediction game. It is currently running as a World Cup special edition and is already proving popular with football fans. The long-term plan is to build a larger Premier League prediction game for the 2026/27 season, along with more sports prediction games in the future.
As RobTechUK has grown, the project has also moved into website development for independent clients, local businesses and small businesses. This includes simple business websites, landing pages, booking forms, online tools and custom web projects.
The aim is to create affordable, practical websites that give small businesses a professional online presence without the high costs often quoted by larger development companies.
Future plans for RobTechUK include expanding the games library, improving Psephia, developing ScoreCast24 into a full Premier League prediction platform, and creating more sports, puzzle and browser-based games.
RobTechUK is also continuing to build a portfolio of small business websites, experimental apps and online tools. Some projects may be updated regularly, and some features may be temporarily unavailable while improvements are being made.
